If you are new to the parish, we welcome you to join us!
Elizabeth Ministry is a lay woman to woman ministry that addresses all aspects of women’s needs in the childbearing years (and beyond). We celebrate each new life born, and mourn the losses of the unborn, miscarried, stillborn and deceased children of our parish. It is a natural fit with our pro-life beliefs. We are looking to re-energize this ministry and know that sometimes the needs of women in the parish seem to be invisible. But they are real. Ask any woman who is struggling with infertility, miscarriage, a high risk pregnancy, or stillbirth. Through this ministry we endeavor to bring hope and healing to women during difficult times but also to celebrate and support the sacredness of womanhood, motherhood, and birth.
Women need each other! Please, come and find out what we are all about! Your thoughts and ideas are welcome!
The annual Life Chain will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015
from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Ogden and York in Hinsdale.
A Life Chain is formed by people of all faiths standing in prayer and holding signs that read “Abortion Hurts Women”, “Jesus Forgives and Heals”, or “Adoption the Loving Option”. Similar Life Chains will be formed at the same time at various locations along Ogden Avenue in the Chicagoland area, as well as across the United States and Canada. The signs will be provided. The Life Chain is not political and does not break any laws. It’s simple yet powerful.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

His Holiness assures you of his prayerful support for you, your colleagues and all those whose prayer, fasting and sacrifices are saving countless lives and giving glory to God.”
Pope Francis, via Vatican Secretariat of State
